A practical CoffeeVac for fresher coffee storage
The CoffeeVac 500g is designed for about 500g of whole coffee beans. Once a bag is open, an airtight canister with a one-way valve gives your coffee a more consistent storage routine. As a barista, I recommend choosing the size that matches the amount you actually use rather than leaving a large canister half empty.
The lid closes the canister and the one-way valve supports the release of carbon dioxide from freshly roasted beans while limiting new oxygen entering. The canister does not make old coffee fresh again, but it helps protect freshly roasted beans from unnecessary exposure to air, light, moisture and surrounding odours.
How to use it
Take the amount you need, close the lid immediately and store the canister in a cool, dry and dark place at room temperature. Grind only the amount you need for the brew.
Who is this size for?
This model suits about half a kilogram of loose coffee beans. If you buy a full kilo and want to keep the original packaging, choose the 1kg CoffeeVac: place the opened bag upright inside, fold the open part inwards, close it with a coffee clip and then close the canister.

Cleaning and care
Empty the canister, wash it with mild soapy water and dry it completely with a clean tea towel. Do not use a dishwasher or microwave. Only refill it when the inside, lid and sealing edge are dry.
What the producer says
TightVac states that CoffeeVac products can keep coffee fresh for up to three times longer than conventional storage containers. This is the manufacturer’s claim, not a fixed freshness guarantee from Eddy’s Coffee. Roast date, correct sizing and closing the lid after every use remain important.
