Guatemala Swiss Water Decaf
Full and creamy · Chocolate · Nuts · Lightly sweet raisins
A decaffeinated coffee without compromising on flavour. Guatemala Swiss Water Decaf is a full-bodied, creamy and approachable coffee with clear notes of chocolate and nuts, followed by gentle sweetness and raisin notes in the finish.
This coffee is made from carefully selected Arabica coffees from several farms and regions in Guatemala. The beans grow at different altitudes and include several varieties. It is therefore not a single-origin coffee from one specific farm, but a carefully composed selection in which quality, flavour and consistency come first.
Soft, sweet and well balanced
Guatemala Swiss Water Decaf has an approachable flavour profile and a pleasantly full body. Compared with our Peru Swiss Water Decaf, the Guatemala is slightly sweeter, while the Peru has a more pronounced nutty character. In terms of strength and accessibility, the two coffees are quite similar.
That makes this Guatemala a great choice for anyone who enjoys our Peru Swiss Water Decaf, as well as for anyone looking for a flavourful decaf coffee for any time of day.
Decaffeinated with the Swiss Water Process®
The caffeine is removed from the green coffee beans using the Swiss Water Process®. Despite its name, the process does not take place in Switzerland: the technique originated there, while the company behind Swiss Water Process® is now Canadian.
The method uses water, temperature and time to remove caffeine without chemical solvents.
First, an extract is made from green coffee. This extract contains coffee's natural flavour components, but the caffeine has been filtered out. The new green coffee beans are then immersed in this extract. Caffeine moves out of the beans, while as many of the natural flavours and aromas as possible remain.
This process is repeated for approximately 8 to 10 hours, until the coffee is 99.9% caffeine-free.
The result? A decaf that tastes the way coffee should taste: full, creamy and rich in flavour, but with virtually no caffeine.
Flavour: chocolate, nuts and raisins
Body: full and creamy
Character: soft, lightly sweet and approachable
Origin: Guatemala
Decaffeination: Swiss Water Process®
Process: without chemical solvents

Brazilian Coffee
While flavor profiles vary by region, Brazilian coffee is known for its low acidity, full body, and dark roast , making it the most popular for espresso drinks. Brazilian beans often have flavor notes of caramel, chocolate, nuts, and spices, and are less fruity.
